from the rest of GM they always wanted

special but over that time he got an

but the Cadillac alante and really ended

his career working in quality control

core that 1977 it was a car that was

bought by a GM employee he had to keep

purchase that car just as soon as he was

done with it and I just drove the

in Michigan here and Corvettes are not

in the winter but I drove that car right

through the winter as well that's

but you've got some stuff that really

pumps up power and it was a bigger

challenge than I think we've ever had I

think most people know that the engine

management system in the C8 Corvette is

completely encrypted and so we couldn't

tune or build the cars like we had up
13:39
through C7 we really had to get an
13:41
understanding of how that engine
13:42
management system worked and when I say
13:44
encrypted I mean it was very very
13:47
difficult to get in but with some help
13:49
we finally were able to do it initially
13:51
without getting into the engine
13:53
management system we created a intake
13:55
throttle body headers and exhaust and
13:57
that took the car from 495 horsepower

stock up to almost 600 wow and so that

was a great start that package runs I
14:05
think something in the 10 to $12,000

range depending on what you want to do

with exhaust you really do feel the

Improvement in the performance right

away the exhaust tone also I happen to

have a 2020 car that I got pretty early

I think it was about the 300th car that

was built and added this package and
