3:54
corvette blogger.com. Keith is with me every other week. We keep you current and uptodate on what's happening with
3:59
America Sports Car. Keith, welcome back to the show. This is a really, really cool show because Keith and I have done
4:05
the news and headline shows for 5 and a half years. We have never done it face to face. We finally get to do it today.
4:12
You know, you keep telling me that you have a face that's perfect for radio. Yes. And I see it now.
4:19
That's awesome. It is great being here. We just did a fantastic show with the Corvette team. You guys are going to love that coming
4:24
up. But so much great news coming out of the NCM Bash. Yes. There wasn't a lot of news, but there
4:29
was something that people will like. I think there's enough to get it to you guys, and we will do that at the end of the
4:35
show. Yep. First, as we always do, buddy, let's get a Corvette production update from the Bowling Green assembly plant.
4:40
So, you know, the plant was closed for those two weeks. It reopened the week of March 31st. The numbers have been really interesting to watch because I think
4:46
what we're seeing is actually a ramp up again. So, following the project improvements that they did the first week back, they only built 86 cars total
4:53
for the whole week. And then the number grew to 198 in week two and then 244 in week three. What's
4:59
been really interesting though is around the week of April 7th, so that second week back, the Z06s began out producing
5:05
the stingrays and that trend is actually continuing through today. Unfortunately, we've seen a dramatic drop in -ays with
5:11
zero reported over the last couple weeks. So, whatever they did at the plant, we've actually seen a real
5:16
emphasis in the Z06 over everything else. And as far as production counts go, we have 10,957
5:22
stingrays, 5532 Z06s, and 1,897-rays.
5:28
That's a grand total of 18,386 Corvettes produced so far for the 2025 year. Okay. Now, what I find interesting
5:34
is during that NCM update with the Corvette team, they actually said that this year is kind of going to be
5:39
limited. So, you know, I'm wondering if we were already at 18,000 now, are we looking at 24 26,000 or so? It's
5:46
actually going to be a reduced number because we have seen a reduction and lower rates and before they were doing like 220 a day where they were really
5:53
ramping up especially during the 2023 year where they were going for that record. Yes. But now they're doing like 140
5:59
sometimes, you know, and actually now after the thing, you know, after they did the update, 244 in a whole week, you
6:05
know, they were doing 244 in a day sometimes. Exactly. So, it's really interesting to see and we're going to keep an eye on this because I know around May 1st or so, I'm
6:12
going to go back and do another one of those on the ground updates and we'll look at the Chevrolet live tracker inventory and see what those numbers
6:17
are. But things are really interesting right now and you can't go back and look historically now because it's different.
6:23
Yes, absolutely right. And what about allocations? Didn't we have allocations last week?
6:28
You know, we weren't expecting them, but we actually had some dealers say we got Z06s. Really?
6:33
So, we had a couple dealers tell us yes, they got only Z06's. Other dealers, even top 10 dealers, said we didn't get
6:38
anything. Wow. And of course, no Stingrays, no E-rays. There hasn't been an order period for Stingrays and E-rays in two months now.
6:45
Wow. Nothing in March, nothing in April. And so, we are looking at something coming up in May, but again, there's going to
6:50
be Stingrays and E-rays. We don't know. So, it'll be interesting to see what's going on there. But with more Z06s being
6:55
built, GM is actually sending more allocations for more Z06s. So, it seems like something's going on there. And we
7:01
know that dealers still do have lists. They have customers that want those Z06s. Of course, the biggest problem there has always been constraints.
7:07
Yeah. I was going to ask you if the dealers still are working off list then for Z06s, aren't they? Okay. Yeah. The big ones are especially still.
7:13
Also, we got 20 256 production start dates and end dates, didn't we? Yeah. So, we were told that Chevrolet
7:20
will have one more ordering opportunity for the 2012 model year, most likely in May. The last order dates will be
7:25
submitted on May 22nd with allocations coming on the week before, probably May 15th. So, the 2025 model year will be
7:31
produced through the summer and it will end on August 1st, which is a Friday. Okay. So, we got the end date for that. Now,
7:36
as a 26 model year, the first ordering for that car will begin on June 26th. Okay. And then production will start on
7:43
Monday, August 4th. Oh. So, you know, they've been doing the last couple years we've seen September starts. Now we've got an August start.
7:49
The it's just constantly changing, but it's, you know, it seemed to starting to stabilize around August and September,
7:55
which is good because that puts it in people's minds of, you know, when's the model year you're going to change, when it's going to flip over. I'd rather see
8:01
more emphasis on being consistent as opposed to all these crazy start and stop dates. Yeah, it was always late summer, early
8:07
fall, right? Yeah, that sounds good. This next story was kind of interesting. There was a UAW local president that said GM
8:14
Rochester plant can produce more parts. Now, I'm going to think that he's probably thinking, we got tariffs coming
8:20
and stuff like that. We can do more to help the American economy. Exactly. And so, Rochester Facility is one of the GM plants that builds a
8:26
variety of parts for vehicles. They do integrated air fuel modules, fuel rails, limited oil manifold assemblies. I know
8:32
they do the tops of some of the intakes for cars for Corvettes. Okay. Fuel injectors for Cadillac, Chevy, and GMC
8:38
vehicles. Back in the day, they had 11,000 employees there, and now they're only got like 600 or 700. Wow. But this
8:44
UAWGM Rochester's Dan Maloney was asked by a local television station, do they have the capacity to build more? And
8:50
he's like, hell yeah. You know, he tells the story about in 2006, they moved an entire fuel injection factory from
8:56
Michigan to Rochester in just 6 weeks. Wow. And so you think if they can do that, you know, obviously they there's some
9:01
certain targeted areas that they say we got to get this out of that market, get it back in the US, and a facility like
9:07
Rochester is a perfect place for that. Yeah. Very cool. Also, this is kind of an interesting story, too. The Arnold
9:12
Clark Group. Now, this is in the United Kingdom. They are beginning new Corvette deliveries over there in the UK. Yeah,
9:18
we had this story. I like to call this the Corvettes World Domination Tour. Exactly. We talked about this before. GM has a
9:24
new dealership that's working within the UK, Arnold Clark Group. They just started deliveries as two of their locations and the customers are actually
9:30
really excited because not only can they order America's favorite sports car, I guess it might maybe England's favorite sports car. That'd be cool. could be on
9:37
the way, but they get them now in right-hand drive, which is obviously the most natural way to drive a car for them
9:42
over there. Exactly. Great for them. And the interesting thing is I'm reading the story and the headline didn't make sense to me because
9:47
you know what they call deliveries in the UK? What they called them? Handovers. Oh. So, I'm going to hand over the keys,
9:53
you know, and that makes total sense, you know. I'm reading the headline. I'm like, what is this handover stuff? And it turned out to be deliveries they were
9:59
talking about. Well, it's like it's not an apartment. It's a flat. It's not an elevator. It's a lift. There you go.
10:05
Crazy. So, it's a handover. It's a handover. Okay. Well, let's take our first break, buddy. When we come back, it's Corvette
10:11
racing and Corvette rumors. That's coming up next here on Corvette Today. Wheelcraft's PVD chrome finish in bright

14:53
just give them a call 833-639-4231. I'm your host Steve Garrett. With me is
14:59
my partner in crime every other week Keith Cornet. We are live at the National Corvette Museum at the Michelin
15:04
Bash doing our very first news and headline show face to face together after 5 and a half years. In the second
15:10
segment, we always cover Corvette Racing and Corvette Rumors. Keith Johor Racing and I hope I pronounced that name right,
15:17
not Yohor. They got first place at Malaysia with a C8 GT3R. That's awesome.
15:23
Well, this was a very significant run for them. First of all, they're new to the Corvette team. This was basically their first weekend, right? So, huge
15:29
win. You know, you go out the very first time and win a race. Perfect. You know, they did it in Malaysia, which is where
15:35
they're from. So, not only did they win their first race, they won it on their home track. So, again, very exciting there. This was actually the number 99
15:42
Corvette. Alexander Sims, the Corvette racing factory drivers. He's over there with them, helping them out. And Prince
15:48
Jeffrey Ibram, drove the 99 Corvette to a debut victory in that second leg of the opening round of the GT World
15:53
Challenge Asia powered by AWS on Sunday. Congratulations to these guys. They're fired up about having the Z06 GT3R over
16:00
there. Their introduction videos, I mean, they've went over the top on them. So, they're they're pretty excited. And then to come out and win.
16:07
Yeah. Oh, they're really going to be excited. Talk about getting off on the right foot, right? Exactly. So, congratulations to those
16:12
guys. Absolutely right. And we had Corvette racing at Emila, too. Yeah, we jumped on a World Endurance Championship
16:18
in TF Sport, which is live in action in Amola, Italy over the weekend. The two Corvette Z06's GT3 RS both got points
16:25
from that race. They finished sixth and seventh in class. So, they get points. Now, the good news is with those points, the number 33 car, remember, it won its
16:32
debut out there. So, they're still in actually the championship lead. Oh. So, they're looking really good right
16:37
now. And again, now the goal is always for points. Get as many points as you want. Yeah, they're actually headed to Belgium next
16:43
for the 6 hours of spa on May 10th. Wow. The thing about Corvette racing these days is there's almost no off weekends
16:49
for us, you know, because we've got all these races everywhere. We got a couple more teams over in the UK, of course. We
16:54
got Asia. They're just growing here. We've got, you know, the GT World Challenge America, right? Tons of racing going on.
17:00
Talk about world domination, buddy. There you go. We got Corvette Racing helping us out, right? That's right. That's awesome.
17:06
Let's go to rumors, Keith. There's a company called Auto Forecast Solutions. They say that the next gen C8 is going
17:12
to start production in 2029. That's a juicy rumor. It is. And these guys are professionals.
17:17
These are the ones that all the automakers rely on. It kind of gives them insights into what else is coming around, trends in the market. They
17:25
almost predicted the correct starting date for the C8 Corvette, the 2020. No kidding. And they would have nailed it had it not been for a UAW strike that
17:32
went on for, you know, 5 6 weeks or so. They've done some other predictions. Most recently, a lot of their stuff's been the EV stuff. So we've heard some
17:38
predictions of sedans and the EV SUV kind of stuff. Okay, not really panning out. Of course, that market's changing.
17:44
The automakers use that. What's interesting is this comes from Autoline Daily. They had their daily update with
17:50
this. What's interesting, they call it the next generation Corvette to go in production in June 2029.
17:56
And the good news is it's at the Bowling Green assembly plant in Kentucky. And why I say that's good news is because anytime they forecast an EV style
18:03
Corvette SUV or sedan, it was going to be built at the Grand River plant in Lancing, Michigan. So that's where they
18:09
do a lot of their EV stuff up here. So if they're talking about a next generation Corvette being built in Bowling Green, I got to believe it's
18:15
going to be an ice engine. Wow. Actually heard another rumor about maybe Gen 6 as well coming out. So we'll have
18:21
some more on that later. But it might be all the stuff. That's so what we do is we connect the dots. You know guys
18:26
talking about Gen 6. We now know Auto Forecast Solutions saying June 2029. We've often heard that the Corvette C8
18:33
program was at least eight years, right? It could be extended. And of course, if they're selling cars, why wouldn't they
18:38
extend it a little bit, right? One more thing with this report is that Auto Forecast Solutions is saying that GM's
18:43
internal code from the platform is still called C8. So, I'm thinking like maybe it's a C8 Plus. Maybe it's sort of like
18:49
the same architecture, but you could do different power plants, different body structure on the car. Of course, you can
18:54
also change that structure, but it's still quote C8. Interesting. It'll be interesting to see. These are forecasts. Yeah. Our good friend Wendy
19:01
Miller, she's a forecaster, so she's kind of in this business as well. So, we'll have to see what we get. But it's I like that rumor. That's a good one.
19:07
That's a juicy one, especially if it's going to stay C8. I always thought I heard that it was going to go to the end
19:12
of the decade, right, through 2030. So, this is different. Yeah. And it's always kind of changing,
19:17
you know, and of course, we're still, you know, five, six years out from there. I tell people I think they were driving the -ray in 2018 or early 2019,
19:25
you know, and it comes out in 2024. So that's the kind of lead time that they need to develop this stuff. And so
19:30
again, it's just good news to hear that we're finding out some of these little tidbits. And again, it just connects the dots to what's happening in the future.
19:36
We need to see if that rumor is true. Right. Our last rumor, GM parts catalog show. I think this is another phawa
19:42
unfortunately, but they showed off the new 2026 interior as a sketch. Yeah, it's one of these parts diagrams that
19:48
you see on like GM Parts Direct or GM Parts Warehouse. Our friend Justin at Horsepower Obsessed the YouTube video.
19:54
He had that schematic from one of them on there and it actually looks pretty good. It showed the entertainment screen and you can see it's extended and
20:00
underneath it there was a little bit of row of buttons where there's some HVAC buttons and then it didn't show any of the stuff over here on the side. So, we
20:06
don't know what that center console was, but it did look like the screen was a little bit larger. Seeing those HVAC buttons on there, you got to figure that
20:12
those are the main ones, the power lens, and then the ones for like the driver cooling stuff. Those will probably be moved over to the doors, we're thinking.
20:18
Again, they look really well integrated. We're hoping to see in here at the bash. We did not see them at the bash. Again,
20:24
I think we'll have that news if that last order date for the 2025s is in May. By June, I mean, they'll come out with
20:29
that because they're going to start ordering. The 2026 is in June. So, we're just a month away from seeing it. Yeah, that could be. And they always
20:35
said there's more stuff coming out in the next couple months. So, that might be it, right? Cool. All right, buddy. Time for our
20:41
final break. When we come back, it's the fun side of Corvette. That's up next. That's my favorite part. It's coming up
20:46
next here on Corvette Today. Are you ready for a better insurance

24:12
host Steve Garrett. With me is my partner Keith Cornet from Corvette Blogger. Every other week we keep you current and uptodate on what's happening
24:18
with America sports car. Don't forget if you want a deeper dive into any of the stories that we cover, you can always go
24:23
to corvette blogger.com. In this final segment, we cover the fun side of Corvette. Keith, this was kind of cool
24:29
to see. And this is near and dear to your heart. Yeah. Florida Highway Patrol has a C8 to go hunt down speedsters.
24:36
Yeah. I like to call it a new weapon for justice. It's a 2023 Corvette that was seized
24:41
from a bad guy and being put to work by the good guys. The car is fully functional police car except there's no place to put an offender should you know
24:48
that penalty be more than a misdemeanor. Oops. The video that was shared after they did this whole look at the car and
24:54
again it's dressed up in all the colors traditional to the Florida Highway Patrol and they had a trooper there.
24:59
They actually went out and did some enforcement. Of course, the first car they pull over was a Porsche.
25:05
Oh my gosh. So, it wasn't for show. It was a real car for real speed. And then they went out and did some work on it.
25:10
Wow. I said the Porsche driver was the first victim. But, you know, if you come to Southwest Florida on vacation, you might
25:15
want to keep those speeds down because there's somebody out there that's doing some hunting and they've got a Corvette Z-51 ready to go on the highway. There's
25:22
a And now they're in a Corvette Stingray. I bet the Porsche dealer was embarrassed. It's like, I got stopped by
25:27
a highway patrol in a Corvette of nothing else. Exactly. Oh my gosh. How funny is that? This is
25:33
also a really cool story. Corvette number five from 1953 was sold on Bring
25:38
a Trailer. Fifth car. Fifth car ever. Exactly. So, this is a great story. So John Clay Wolf, he's an automotive
25:43
wholesaler out of Texas. And last year he had the opportunity to buy this entire car collection. $4 million total.
25:49
Wow. So he bought the collection, but he had to sell the cars to pay for it. Okay. That was his job. That was his
25:55
assignment. So one of the cars was the fifth Corvette ever produced, originally owned by the Dupont company's president,
26:00
Crawford Greenwald, which makes sense because, you know, some of those first cars went to GM's closest friends and
26:05
partners in this. So John sold the collection at Dallas Mannheim, a wholesale auction company. But the
26:11
Corvette didn't get the bid that he wanted, so he didn't sell it. And then he took that car to bring a trailer where it sold for $410,000.
26:19
Wow. Now, again, it's YouTube, so there was some drama. Apparently, a federal judge was watching the sale because the guy
26:25
that he bought the collection from owned like $100 million to people. Wow. And so they knew exactly. So he got a
26:32
subpoena. This young Clay Wolf got a subpoena saying, "We've been watching you, watching the sale of the cars.
26:37
Where's that money going?" And he's like, "Well, I'm just giving it back." you know, so I I don't know exactly what happened there, but he's showing the
26:42
holding up the subpoena and stuff. It's a great great video if you get a chance to see it on corvette blogger.com. Some of the cars he had, he had also a a Z06
26:49
tanker, I believe. Wow. And that was one of the other big cars that did well. So, very nice. And then all kinds of other stuff. It's
26:55
a really cool classic. So, again, to take that, you know, the idea that, you know, you think you take it to a Bear
27:00
Jackson or a Mikum. No, he took it to Dallas Mannheim, sold him for wholesale where he could, you know, whatever he
27:06
knew what price that he wanted, right? And then the ones that he didn't he took elsewhere. So this number five car $410,000.
27:12
I thought it would go for more actually. Yeah, maybe. So, but I mean it's still number five. There's the number three car and there's the number one car now,
27:19
right? So, I mean, this is actually now probably just the third car in existence. Although, there's talking about that number two car somewhere that
27:25
might be out there. Who who knows? You know, we need we need some of those older guys to really set us straight on that.
27:30
Yeah, definitely. Also, this is nice. GM came out with new engine graphics for the back end of the C8 Corvette in the
27:37
engine bay. Yeah. So, for 2025, you know, they came out with that first that specification sticker that you could put on there,
27:42
right? And then if you've ever notice those side kind of indentations on the surround and this is only for coups,
27:48
right? There stickers that actually go in those indentations. They got a red stripe and they got a carbon fiber pattern on them.
27:53
One of them's got a silhouette of the C8. Looks really nice. This is actually called LPO option VUP. And there's two
28:00
graphics on each side of your C8's engine bay. Right. And again, they look pretty good. Now, GM is charging 295 for the engine
28:07
closeout graphics when you order your Corvette, but if you go through Corvette accessories, they're 275%. Okay?
28:13
And so, you can save just a little bit more. And it again, you might take that part number and then go look at some of the GM parts warehouse or parts
28:19
categories and see what they have because you could probably save on this. But they're they actually really kind of dress out the car.
28:24
Yeah, it looks good. Yeah, I think so. Where's it been for 5 years? I don't know. You got to wonder about kind of the roll out here. This seems
28:30
like a year two, year three kind of thing. It's like, guys, we're five years late, right? Was this a Was this a co thing?
28:38
I don't know. And our final story, we're gonna kind of wrap up everything from the Michelin Bash here at the National Corvette Museum.
28:43
Yeah. I I really have no notes for this, so we'll just kind of talk off the cuff. What we had today, we had the what's new
28:49
at the Corvette seminar, right? We were wondering if the 2026 car was going to be here. Unfortunately, it wasn't.
28:54
Correct. Don't know why. They've got their own reasons, but they did give us a tidbit. We did get two new colors today. Yes. We
29:00
got a green, a Roswell green metallic, right? And then Blade Silver's coming back.
29:05
Thank goodness. So Blade Silver was on the C8 back in 2020, but then it went away after that. The sad news is because they add two
29:12
colors, they got to take two colors away, right? And that Seawolf gray, which is tough because I think that's a top five color,
29:18
right? Oh, no kidding. I think it's top five or top six. It's a great color. People love it. And then the other color going away is rapid blue metallic, which
29:25
we kind of knew that's been there for 6 years. It ran its course. I think this year 2025 it's actually at the bottom of the
29:31
heap right now. Yeah. Uh so change was due and that kind of freshens it up. They did say more to come. We know the
29:36
interior stuff's coming out. So they're probably just waiting not to step on the toes of the final 2025 orders, right?
29:42
That was really the biggest news coming out of there. We got great pictures up. You're going to see them all over the place cuz everybody was taking pictures
29:48
of that stuff. And we got the frogs. They showed the frogs, those designs. The green itself when you put a light on
29:54
it. It was overcast here. It was raining today in Bowling Green, but I put my flashlight on it and there's like a gold
29:59
flake underneath it. So, in the sun, you think about that green with that little gold undertones to it. I think it's going to look pretty good. And I asked
30:06
Chuck Valentini, the paint director. I said, "Remember when they did that NFT car with that minted green?" Yes.
30:12
Is it similar? Is it close? He said, "Actually, it's two different colors, but they are a little I mean, they're kind of in the same family, but two
30:18
different colors. So, don't think that that's what it was." And as far as blade silver, people just love the silvers.
30:23
Even though it's kind of a midland color and middle of the road color, it's a corporate color. It's very safe. And again, with some of
30:28
the stripe packages you have on there, you can really dress it up. You know, I talked to Chuck as well and he said, "This blade silver is a little different
30:34
from the old blade silver." Yeah. Because actually they had to recalibrate it for the new paint plan over there and they did some other
30:41
things to it. So yeah, he said I could have gone back to the silver flare. Yes. But then they wanted to do something different again. So that was the big
30:47
news there. The other news that we got through the plant update was they did some reconfigurations but they wouldn't
30:52
really quite tell us why. I did ask the question they have a line right now. Ray said he couldn't tell us they are a little close to the chest on that but
30:58
again I it's I think as there's these changes that are coming like I said with the Z06es there. We just had a wonderful
31:04
reception here at the NC Bash. We always do. You come for the cars, you come back for the people. We actually both Steve
31:10
and I this wonderful couple came up. I do not have their names. They're so nice. I see them every year. Yes.
31:15
They gave us a gift. a thank you card and a gift. It was really really nice and appreciated. Yeah. But uh all the
31:21
people that come up to us and say, "I love you. I listen to the show." They always tell us how they listen too. You know, I'm driving. I'm working out. You
31:27
know, I might be on my walk. But uh it's always interesting how people tell us how they consume this media. But it's
31:32
it's just a fabulous opportunity. I'm so blessed to be on your show, Steve. I really mean that. Just to be here in my
31:38
own personal graceand is how I always describe the NCM. A lot of good stuff happening here. The other good stuff happening here obviously with you know
31:44
the changes to the NCM we went through that David Hill fiasco but now we got Bryce as our CEO and president.
31:50
Everybody just loves him. He's going to really grow into this position. He has a chance to really stay here and cement
31:55
his legacy as well as push this museum to new levels as well. Absolutely. The staff couldn't be happier to have
32:02
Bryce in charge. Right. They're all very excited to come to work now. Yeah. Absolutely. And I did the museum
32:07
experience delivery here with my car which was fun. Yeah. So Steve's car was out on the boulevard. That's a $500 option,
32:14
correct? He drops off his car. They goes through all the detailing that all the new cars do, the PDI kind of stuff, right? And
32:20
then it goes out on the boulevard. He actually gets to sit and talk with one of the hosts. Yeah. One of the hosts that takes him
32:26
through the car, some of the settings that even seasoned owners might not know or where to find something or he did not know that you could do that.
32:32
I learned some new stuff. I bet I did. And then Steve had the opportunity to start his car multiple times in the in the on the boulevard
32:39
which I think kind of shook some walls a little bit. That Soul Performance Products exhaust is fabulous. Fantastic. Soul Performance
32:47
Products sulp.com. Go get the Soul Performance exhaust for your CA Corvette.
32:53
Right. And then for me personally, this is the first I've been coming to the NCM Bash maybe 15 years now. Wow. Been doing
32:59
Carile and all these shows, these major shows. First time I've ever been able to drive my own car. Yes, it brought my up from Tampa. It was
33:05
about 775 miles, so about 11 hours or so on the road. It was fabulous. I tell people I broke up the trip with a hour
33:12
stop at a Bies, which is becoming the big stop you got to do. Absolutely. But the -ray did fantastic. Great road
33:18
car. Just can't talk enough about it. Had dinner actually one of the nights here with five other owners.
33:24
Nice. And I got to tell you, they're the happiest owners. Yeah, they're the happiest owners. They're the happiest. They like it better than the Z06.
33:30
It's just a great road car. And you know, a lot of us feel like it doesn't get as just desserts. And you know, there's the questions of did they quite
33:36
market it correctly. Um, well, that's why we're here. We're here to help them market it correctly. It's a great car. Fantastic road car.
33:42
Great GT driving. GT2 seats, no problem with the back or anything. And just a fun ride. Happy to be here. This is new
33:49
for us. Normally, we're just talking on the phone together and uh to be able to see each other's reactions and kind of work off that. And and actually for me,
33:56
you know, I do a lot of making sure I'm reading and, you know, want to have it right. But this is much more conversational and I I actually feel the
34:03
difference in just what we're doing here. Absolutely. Yeah, it's definitely better. Yeah, it really is. So guys, you got to get up to the NCM
34:09
Bash if you've never been. Of course, they've got the anniversary show coming up here shortly, August. Oh, there was one more thing that we
34:15
didn't talk about, which was the Hall of Fame. Oh, yes. I didn't make that meeting. Who's in the Hall of Fame this year?
34:20
Yeah. Okay. So, for GM, Chuck Jordan, former VP of design for General Motors,
34:25
and he he did a lot of work on Corvettes. I think a C4C5 stuff was where he really fit in there.
34:31
He was. Yeah. And then for racing, we had Kim Baker. Oh. He very well-known SECA racer. He really
34:38
got his chops in on the Corvette Challenge series, I believe. And he's been on Corvette today. Yeah. Um I think he won the SEC
34:45
Championship 85, 86, 87 is what they said, right? They called him up. He was just very excited and happy to be there. So he was
34:51
the racing. And then for the enthusiast, it was Charlie and Jim Robertson. Oh.
34:56
NCM members. And if anybody follows Corvette Racing, I've been, you know, a big fan of Corvette racing since I got into this. Yeah. And those guys are
35:03
really Corvette racing ambassadors. They do a lot. He used to be Charlie's email list, you know, really kept people up to
35:09
date. You know, you get all the racing stuff and it's kind of behind the scenes stuff and they're always working with the team. So, congratulations to them. I
35:15
tell people Jim and Charlie are some of my favorite people in the Corvette hobby. Very happy to see them in it. They're good people.
35:20
