sure everybody the museum is obviously very excited talk to me what's the vibe around the museum as we work in through

year number 30 year number 30 right what an amazing accomplishment right I mean that's kind of the first piece is just a

moment of pride and celebration of course our Founders always when they

open the museum assumed it would be successful as everybody does in any type of new Endeavor but to be able to look

forward now 30 years later and see the size of the campus the amount of guests that we welcome every single day to the

museum the amount of children that we introduce Corvette to and excite and then of course the celebration and

thankfulness that we have to our members I would say all that is just kind of a collective frenzy that it's building us

up to as we look to what the next 30 years are going to look like that's pretty cool and we also have some new hires of the museum tell me about the

Three A's Amy Andy and Andrea yeah it has been a very busy time

for our HR team we had a couple key roles that have been open over the last couple months we were able to bring on

Amy Harden who is our director of development Amy is a boomerang to the National Corvette Museum she actually

had this role back in 2019 and then moved over to a few other organizations

and then was able to join us and already is hitting the ground run I know that she's been meeting with some Corvette clubs already and starting to put a plan

in place of really how we drive kind of that development piece forward Andy Markham joined us as our director of

accounting has been amazing already incredible impact that he's made in the last 30 days because of course you know

the end of the year is always that budgeting time so came in really at the right time and then also named Andrea

baitman as our director of membership now for anybody that's been close to the museum for the last 6 months they've

probably interacted with Andrea because she's really been on the front line really making sure that all of our

members are receiving their benefits receiving the recognition that they deserve Andrea started out just about a

year ago at the National Corvette Museum as the assistant to the CEO's office and really stepped in to help out with

membership so very excited that we were able to elevate her so with that really the leadership team at the museum has

been completely filled out which also certainly sets us up for a lot of success for 2025 that's great news now I

know Museum delivery is also going strong our buddy Rod Keller and his staff are working overtime and you have

a brand new mural on the outside wall of the museum as well so when you pull your car out you get a picture of your car

and what's the target number for 2025 well first off Steve let's just pause and just celebrate Rod okay because Rod

Keller is somebody if you encounter him in the museum he's almost out of breath because he's sprinting from one place to

another and Rod's somebody that really just joined us a year ago now and started in January of 2024 right has

made an incredible impact you mentioned the mural the feedback that we've received on that new mural has been

really fantastic I think from a marketing perspective you know I love how it really melds this idea of

adrenaline Meats tradition together yeah but also was reflective of the feedback that we heard from all of our Museum

delivery customers who said well kind of the direction that we went let's be honest it had a Mustang on it okay it

was a horse it makes sense in Kentucky but it's a Mustang still right so feedback on that has been great and that's something that we're going to

look to refresh pretty regularly just because of where it is it gets hit by the elements we know it's such a great

photo backdrop and then really to get to what you specifically asked you know that photo backdrop was the backdrop to

Sky Dome let's talk about that because that was a huge addition last year huge addition Steve so yeah so we

affectionately call that the skywall so you go into the sky dome and you look into the skywall that is a 300° 9ft tall

video wall that wraps the room I really right now compare it to almost an IMAX

theater because we've updated the content that's playing in there and it's tied the the current exhibit so you're

standing there watching movies that Corvettes have been in with the Cor vet that were in it right in front of you so

I mean it's almost IMAX with an experiential feel to it it's really amazing and you know to walk in that

space and to see people almost transfixed in the Sight and Sound and what they're watching versus prior to

that you know of course that space has always been an icon for us people would kind of just walk through and do a loop but now with the skywall people really

do stop in their tracks see what's playing read the stories of course spend more time learning about our Hall of

commercials music videos driven by astronauts so it's an exhibition that really explains all that and really set

bringing in new Corvettes right now we have the stingray racer that Elvis Presley drove in Clambake we just

brought that on to exhibition part of the exhibit so it's really really a cool space and a great exhibition wow that's

really cool now there's an exhibit called luster that's finishing up on January 5th what else is planned for

2025 we'll be opening speed captured the photographic works of Richard Prince wow

that's going to open in March of 2025 and really going to be a breathtaking exhibition that celebrates the art of

course Richard is known for capturing that essence of motion design and adrenaline and this will feature not

only iconic Corvette images but some of those iconic Corvettes that were the subject of it so really excited for this

one and of course I think you know for anybody that spends time around Corvettes or cars taking pictures of

cars is something that we all love to do right I mean I'm sure you're stopping and looking back and snapping a picture of your Corvette so I think to be able

to bring that to life with Richard's work and then some even self-explanatory of how you can take some amazing

Automotive photography yourself will also be part of it so we're very excited for that opening in March of 2025 that's

telling really the story from sketch all the way to reveal of a new Corvette model and everything that goes into it

Corvette over the last 71 years yeah and also the McMichael family education Gallery continues to be a huge hit for

kids of all ages isn't it absolutely of course you know education being at the center of our mission and really

inspiring that next generation of Corvette fans but Automotive designers and Engineers we've seen an a tremendous

outpouring of support as well as student groups coming through the McMichael family education Gallery this year you

know with that studio X that we have in the back there that really replicates that studio x that you saw at the Warren Tech Center back in the 50s it really is

a fantastic space my favorite part about it is you know there is some tactile experiences in there because for a kid

coming through the museum it's hands off right yeah the cars are collection cars you can't touch them but when you get

into the McMichael family education Gallery you know there's different materials kids can touch and feel what a brake petal feels like what a leather

interior feels like so some of those Hands-On pieces as well being able to design their own idea of what a future

Corvette would be it's just a great space and again so close to our mission can't than the McMichael family enough

for the contributions that they've made not only to the National Corvette Museum but how they're really inspiring that

next Generation absolutely and the two exhibits that really caught my eye and we kind of alluded to it a little bit

earlier in the show there's a Corvette that was owned by Jerry Lee Lewis and also Apollo astronaut Jim level's

Corvette is there at the Museum tell me more about those I love both of those absolutely well the 54 Jerry Lee Lewis's

Corvette interesting story behind that one you know of course that was really at the dawn of Corvette so a

technological Marvel at the time and Lewis owned multiple Corvettes throughout his life however this one is

very unique it was actually repossessed by the IRS in 1980 as so many times these do right

yeah it disappeared from public view for several decades and then resurfaced in

2023 fortunate enough to be able to have that on loan and have that on exhibition and really illust straight what a true

rocker drove back then interesting story and then of course Jim lavel Corvette

Amazing Story there right I mean many of us are aware you know Corvettes became associated with astronauts after General

Motors gifted Alan shefford I believe it was in 1962 and then this relationship

extended through the very famous indie car driver Jim wrathman right who was the owner of that Chevrolet dealership

near Cape canaval so thus you have that connection to the astronauts wrathman actually struck the deal where astronaut

were allowed to lease a Corvette for $1 a year through his dealership and of course many of them choosing Corvettes

this specific car level leas several Corvettes during his astronaut career this is a silver 1968 with 327 you can

almost Picture level driving this Corvette we preparing for that Apollo 8 mission very very cool and there's even

some additional artifacts on loan from the space center and Rocket Center in Huntsville Alabama that really

compliment that exhibition wow beautiful car and a great story is that least program for adult or you're still in I'd
